My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was great, close to both the Gautrain station and the famous Union Building, offering easy access to various attractions. However, the noisy surroundings and presence of cockroaches were drawbacks. The rooms were quite stuffy, facing the main street, making it noisy and uncomfortable at times. On the bright side, the service was friendly and professional, making me feel very welcome despite a declined request for a late check-out. Dining was a fantastic experience, especially with Korean food. Facilities were satisfactory but lacked a small fridge and a microwave in the rooms.
The hotel has its ups and downs. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and spacious, but we had to change rooms due to stuffiness and dust. The service is very helpful, especially with the take-away breakfast, yet inconsistencies might affect the overall experience. The location is convenient but noisy due to taxi hooting. The dining options are overwhelming, but the prices could be more reasonable considering the overall cost. Despite some issues, the facilities offer some comfort and convenience.
The hotel rooms were nice and clean, and the staff was helpful. However, the air conditioner remote was missing, and the room was not completely soundproof. The location was perfect for my needs, although there was some noise from the neighboring building at times. The hotel had a lot of noise during the night, with people constantly coming in and out of rooms. The open-plan design contributed to the lack of privacy and comfort. However, the staff were friendly and competent, ensuring a pleasant service experience.
The hotel was not ready on time which was disappointing. The noisy environment due to constant door slamming and people coming in and out throughout the night made it hard to get a good night's sleep. On the positive side, the friendly and accommodating service, especially from the designated driver, Godfrey, was a notable highlight.
